Agha Khan Fund for enhancing relations with Syria

Syria's Minister of Education Mahmoud al-Said received in Damascus yesterday a delegation representing Agha Khan Development Network in Agha Khan University, Institute of Educational Development led by Mahmoud Maymoun.

The meeting was attended by the Resident Representative of the Agha Khan Development Network in Syria Mohammed Siefo.

Al-Said stressed the importance of enhancing relations of cooperation between the Education Ministry and Agha Khan Development Network in the different fields particularly in the field of developing English language learning, personnel training and investment of the modern technology in the educational field.

For his part, Maymoun expressed high appreciation over the standing relations of cooperation between the ministry and Agha Khan Network.

In the same context, Seifo also stressed the Network readiness to enhance relations of cooperation with the Ministry of Education.
