Morocco, Iceland probe fisheries cooperation

Moroccan fisheries minister, Tayeb Rhafes, is currently on a working visit to Iceland (August 5-9) at the invitation of his Icelander counterpart, Arni M. Mathiesen, to probe bilateral cooperation
The purpose of the visit is to prospect with Iceland, which has a considerable experience in fisheries, cooperation in scientific research, training, industries of sea products transforming and shipyards.
An entente memorandum on the development of partnership at the institutional level and between private operators will be signed between the two countries.
Rhafes, who is accompanied by an important delegation including fisheries officials and private operators in the sector, will be received by the president of Iceland.
