Morocco has one judge per every 10,000 inhabitants

Morocco has one magistrate for every 10,123 inhabitants and each judge handles an annual average of 959 cases.
The figures were disclosed Wednesday by Moroccan Justice Minister, Mohamed Bouzoubaa, who equally noted that the number of judges working in Moroccan courts stands at 2927.
The minister announced at a press conference an increase in the salaries of judges to help promote the job.
