Aleppo hosts economic symposium on banking

General Director of the Jordan Residence Bank for Trade and Financing, Abdul Qader al-Douik, has underlined that the issued laws and decrees in Syria will participate in creating new banking environment in Syria which will enable the banking sector to activate its role in the economic and social development and the restoration of the immigrant capital which is estimated by 50 to 60 billion dollars in the development projects.

In the economic symposium which started its work in Aleppo under the motto "The Banking Industry in Syria the Reality, Challenges and Ambitions" al-Douik stressed that Syria is a large and promising Arab markets that enjoys a motivated investment environment due to the deliberated development and modernization policies that Syria is witnessing in the various economic and investment fields.

He also said that the Syrian banking industry will witness a developed banking movement as well as to accompany the latest developments and changes in the modern banking industry in a way that will activate positively the investment process.
