Al Arabiya: Baker's latest peace plan on Sahara was stillborn, moroccan fm
Morocco-UN, Politics, 8/5/2003

Moroccan foreign affairs and cooperation minister, Mohamed Benaissa, affirmed Sunday that the latest peace plan of United Nations secretary general personal envoy for the Sahara, James Baker, was "stillborn."

Benaissa told the Arab news satellite channel "Al Arabiya" that nothing was achieved under the settlement plan adopted by the UN Security Council in 1991 despite Morocco's efforts and sacrifices in the identification operations for a referendum scheduled by the plan that "we currently deem dead."
