House of representatives' commission probes latest developments on sahara row
Morocco, Politics, 8/4/2003
The Foreign Affairs and National Defense Committee of the Moroccan House of Representatives held Friday a meeting dedicated to probing the latest developments of the Moroccan Sahara Issue.
First deputy-chairwoman of the committee, Rachida Benmassaoud, told the press the encounter translates the importance that deputies grant to the question of the Kingdom's territorial integrity. She said the parliament will work in coordination with the government to find a fair political settlement that guarantees Morocco's sovereignty over its southern provinces and reinforces security and stability in the Maghreb region.
