Saudi center for national dialogue

Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz yesterday announced in Riyadh the establishment of King Abdul Aziz center for national dialogue which assumes the mission of continuing dialogue already started by the Saudi crown prince with several Saudi intellectuals.

In a speech he addressed to the Saudis and published by the Saudi news agency, Abdullah said "we have recently witnessed an important development represented in convening the national meeting for intellectual dialogue including an elite of members of our dear homeland.. Those persons proposed that the dialogue has to continue and to expand it to include more persons initiating dialogues and to discuss more issues within its confines."

He added "I declare the consent of my brother King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz to the foundation of King Abdul Aziz Center for national dialogue with Riyadh as a headquarters to be the practical means to achieve the said objective."
