A British national, Jansen Antonny, was transferred Monday evening to Fez to stand before the investigating judge in the appeal court in connection of the May 16 terrorist attacks that rocked Casablanca.

The 37-year old Briton, who converted to Islam in 1994, was arrested last June in Fez-Saiss airport and was referred to justice in Rabat and Casablanca, sources told MAP, adding that he is member of an international Islamist radical movement and is in touch with head of Moroccan section of Salafia Jihadia underground group.

He is sued for inciting for violence, inducing to lead a dissolute life, being part of criminal gang and belonging to a non-authorized group.
