Raghad Saddam: My father was betrayed by associates; Toppled President calls for Jihad

Raghad Saddam Hussein who resorted, together with her sister Rana to Jordan on Thursday said that her father was "betrayed by close associates to him and this resulted in the fall of Baghdad." This was expressed in an interview with the al-Arabia satellite station in Jordan.
She added: regrettable people where Saddam had put his total confidence in, and considered them as his right hand, we understood that the main betrayal came from them.
She described the fall of the Iraqi regime as a very hard state, adding "they had betrayed their own country before they betrayed Saddam Hussein and his family. Raghad who was putting a white scarf on her head and dressed in black added "when I am in a position that makes it imperative for me to defend my country as a man, I should not surrender easily." She detailed the collapse of Baghdad and her fleeing together with members of the family.
Meantime and in a new voice tape broadcast by al-Jazeera TV, the toppled Iraqi President Saddam Hussein called for continued resistance against the American occupation forces until Iraq is "recovered." He described every and each one who deals with the occupation forces as "traitor and a hireling."
Saddam Hussein added in his message which was taped four day earlier that resistance acts are the only way to stop what he called the state of imbalance which hit some of the Iraqis during the recent war. He also announced what he called decisions that clarify means of dealing with those who confiscated the prosperity of the state and the party in the recent period of time.
In his message, the toppled Iraqi President expressed his confidence in the collapse of the American occupation forces. He called on the Iraqis for order and not to carry out revenge operations over what they were exposed of stealing and plundering. He also stressed the need of honoring the principles of Islam and the international law concerning every one who surrenders himself from the occupation forces.
