French Liberation on US occupation practices in Iraq

In a reportage about Iraq, French Liberation newspaper pointed out yesterday to the American "brutal practices against the Iraqi captives." It also underlined that the United Nations envoy in Iraq, Sergio Vieira de Mello, asserted in his report that the American forces are violating the human rights of Iraqi people.
The newspaper quoted the Amnesty International Committee's condemnation to the US forces' practices against the Iraqis and their usage of the prison of Abu Ghareeb in which Iraqi captives are tortured brutally, describing this behavior as shameful.
