Miro concludes a constructive visit to Turkey

Syria's Prime Minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro and members of the accompanying delegation returned yesterday evening to Damascus ending two- day official visit to Turkey.

In a predeparture statement, Miro told reporters that his visit to turkey was very fruitful.

He has held several meetings with Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Turkish President AHMET NECDET SEZER and Senior Turkish officials, he stated.

He added that talks during these meetings dealt with means of enhancing the cooperation relations between the two countries and people.

This visit was an opportunity to meet with Turkish economic and commercial businessmen. Our meetings were very important for improving the ties and economic relations among the joint Syrian - Turkish sectors on the levels of setting up joint investment projects and companies, he said.
