Civil society reviving committees condemn decision banning the distribution of al-Doumari

Syria's civil society reviving committees yesterday condemned "the step taken by the ministry of information, in a puzzling and unaccepted step to prevent the circulation of al-Doumari weekly according to verbal instructions after it was permitted earlier."

In a statement in Damascus yesterday, the committees said that it sees the decision of the "ministry of information against al-Doumari as an oppressive and illegal, and inflicts moral and material support against the civilian press in Syria, calling to retract this decision which defames "our country and the rights of our citizens, guaranteed by the constitution."
