Extremists get 3 to 5 year sentences
Morocco, Local, 7/30/2003
The court of appeal Taza, northern Morocco, handed down Monday prison sentences ranging between 3 and 5 years against a group of 19 persons who are member of "Al Hijra Wa Takfir" underground group.
Twelve members of the group, including their head, K. Ouahbi, were sentenced to 5 years in prison whereas the 7 other members were handed down 3 years prison sentences.
