Mrs. Mubarak assigns National Council for Women with assisting Arab women organization

Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak Chairperson of the National Council for Women asked the council to assist the Arab women organization in its first steps. This will be through setting up the guidelines and regulations so it can work in a correct and legal framework after choosing Cairo as its premises.
Meanwhile, the Council Secretary-General Farkhunda Hassan said that the Arab women organization executive council will convene in two months to approve the regulations.
On the other hand, the preparatory committee of Arab women summit holds a meeting on Monday in the Jordanian capital Amman to prepare for the coming summit due in United Arab Emirates (UAE) in November 2004 upon on invitation from UAE's First Lady Sheikha Fatima Bint Mubarak.
On the other hand, the National Council for women started to carry out its report on Egyptian women which was prepared by a number of Egyptian experts to be the first of its kind in Arab nation on women.
The council delegation had submitted the report on world Bank which financed the plan. The WB hailed the report and the indications of women participation in its nation's issues.
