Occupation forces did discuss fate of the president's two sons; council recommends to hand them to family

The American occupation forces, during the two past days, concentrated its efforts to locate the toppled Iraqi President Saddam Hussein, in breaking in operations carried out in Tikrit, his birthplace, at a time the fate of the bodies of his two sons, Ode and Qusai is still unknown with the announcement of the occupation administration it will discuss their fate in the coming hours.
The American forces said that it was about to arrest the new chairman of Saddam Hussein's security department and might be the toppled President himself in one of the raids against Tikrit. The US army officer who led the operation said that his soldiers broke yesterday at dawn, according to information given by one spy, into three farms in Tikrit. He added they learnt later that the chairman of Saddam Hussein's security department had left the position 24 hours earlier.
The American forces also attacked yesterday a house in one of Baghdad rich suburbs. Local citizens said that there were rumors that these forces were chasing Saddam Hussein or some of his family members. Eye witnesses said that a road in al-Mansour quarters was blocked being very jammed by the American soldiers.
Officials in one of the city's hospitals said that the hospital received five bodies at the site of the raid and two cars were burnt that were parked near the house. One of the house citizens said that the house was attacked by heavy machine guns including missiles and grenade.
Meantime, Sheikh Mahmoud al-Nada, the chief of Albu Nasser tribe which Saddam affiliates to said yesterday he had tried to get the bodies of Saddam's two sons Ode and Qusai, in order to bury them but an American official said that they should be handed to Saddam himslef.
Al-Nada explained in Alouja, the birth place of Saddam "we found that the relatives have to ask for taking the bodies and therefore I came to take them. They are our two deaths and we want to bury them according to the Islamic Sharia. I told them ( the Americans) we will bury them in our cemetery under the supervision of the Americans and their protection if they want so." Al-Nada added that the American official who talked with him informed that Saddam can come to take them himself. He added he is able to request through the International Committee of the Red Cross to get the two bodies he want to bury in a cemetery specially for the tribe.
An official in the occupation forces said yeaterday that the fate of the two bodies who were killed last Tuesday in al-Musil will be decided within the coming hours. He added that the occupation administration held talks to this effect with the Iraqi transitional governing council and with religious figures. He said "we will within the coming 24 hours take measures regarding this."
