One Bahriani arrested in Saudi Arabia

An official at the Bahraini foreign ministry said yesterday that the Saudi authorities arrested a Bahraini citizen while he was crossing to Saudi Arabia through a bridge linking the two states.
The Bahrain news agency quoted the official as saying that Muhammad Saleh Ali Muhammad is held by the Saudi security sides and he is being investigated, noting that the foreign ministry through Bahrain's embassy in Riyadh is following up the results of the case. He gave no other details.
The said Bahraini citizen was arrested last Tuesday when he was trying to enter Saudi Arabia with a friend through the bridge, the only land passage which links Bahrain to Saudi Arabia.
