Syrian Journalists day celebrated

Syrian Journalists celebrated yesterday their 12th anniversary Day at the Cultural Center in al-Mezzah in Damascus. Present at the celebration festival were Information Minister Adnan Omran, the Party's Regional Leadership Member Sallam al-Yassen, Journalists Union's Head Saber Falhout.

In a speech addressed to the participants, Falhout said that honoring the journalists is a civilized and moral award to those in service of the information. He added that the liable freedom of speech which the journalists believe in is their continuous motto that enables them to practice the positive criticism.

He pledged, on behalf of Syrian Journalists, President Bashar al Ð Assad, the Leader of modernization and development, to run forward through the Journalists' free speech to promote the Syrian Information up to the level of responsibility.
