Moroccan-Spanish task group on delimitation of maritime spaces to meet before mid-october
Morocco-Spain, Politics, 7/26/2003

The Moroccan-Spanish task group on delimitation of maritime spaces will hold its upcoming session before next October 15 in Rabat, it was officially announced here this Friday.

The Spanish foreign ministry recalled in a release that during the group's fourth session on July 16 in Madrid "the two sides committed to work for the conclusion of a Moroccan-Spanish agreement defining provisional arrangements for the delimitation and potential cooperation axes on maritime spaces along the Atlantic."

Morocco and Spain set up last December five task groups on political issues, immigration and social affairs, delimitation of maritime spaces, economic and cultural relations, and ties between the two countries' civil societies. The joint task groups were created to help lay new foundations for bilateral relations.
