King Mohammed appoints top officials at interior ministry

Morocco's King Mohammed VI appointed this Friday at the royal palace of Tetuan (northern Morocco) several top officials at the interior ministry.

The sovereign received Gen. Hamidou Laanigri who was appointed General director of the general directorate of national security (DGSN, police department) in replacement of Hafid Ben Hachem whom the king thanked for services extended at the head of the DGSN. The sovereign also paid tribute to all the components of the Moroccan police for their dedication in fulfilling their mission and for their efforts to secure the safety and quietude of Moroccan citizens.

Ahmed Harari was appointed director of the general directorate of territory surveillance (DST).

Noureddine Ben Brahim was appointed governor-director of general affairs, while Charki Drais was named governor-director in charge of the authority personnel affairs, Brahim Boufous has become governor-director at the directorate of elections, Khalid Zerouali will take over the post of governor-director of international cooperation, Driss Jouahri will be serving as governor at the interior ministry and Rachid Rguibi was made governor at the interior ministry.
