Arab Follow up committee to meet next month in Cairo

A source at the Arab league AL has announced that the Arab Follow up committee will convene an urgent meeting at the level of foreign ministers on August 5 in order to study the situation in the Palestinian territories and Iraq.
The chairman of the press office of the secretary general of the Arab League Husam Zaki said that the meeting will be held at an official request proposed by the King of Bahrain, the current head of the committee and the head of the Arab summit in its current session. He added that the AL informed member states in the committee "but the consent of the invited countries to this date have not yet reached the AL secretariat."
