Governing council: priority for security, economy, end of Baath party, a federal system
The transitional Governing Council in Iraq issued a political statement in which it defined nine basic points for its work, mainly ensuring security, elimination of the Baath Party, drawing the foundation for a multilateral democratic federal system, and to revive the economy, denying simultaneously the existence of any difference between its members over leadership.

Al-Adwa': Sudanese Umma council to resume dialogue with the government
