Central African fm holds talks with speakers of parliament chambers

Central African foreign affairs, regional integration and Francophonie minister, Abdou Karim Meckassoua, who started Monday a visit to Morocco, held here Tuesday separate talks with speakers of the Moroccan Chamber of Advisors and House of Representatives, respectively Mustapha Oukacha and Abdelouahed Radi, on means to reinforce bilateral economic cooperation and the Sahara question.
The two speakers praised Central Africa's noble and courageous support to Morocco in the Sahara issue, recalling the separatists' projects to undermine the kingdom's unity and integrity.
Morocco that attempts to resolve this artificial conflict through peaceful means, rebuffs all plans that do not preserve its complete sovereignty and its legitimate and historical rights, underlined Oukacha.
About the stand of Central Africa that reaffirmed support to Morocco's position in the Sahara conflict, Meckassoua said in his talks with Radi "we consider the kingdom of Morocco an indivisible territory," expressing astonishment concerning those who "adopt theses backing partition and the creation of micro-states."
He also stressed that his country's stance is by a comprehensive and realistic vision of the situation in Africa and the current juncture that necessitate an intensification of efforts to unify the continent instead of dividing it up.
In this connection, Meckassoua hailed Morocco's efforts in favor of Africa, recalling king Mohammed VI decision to annul the debts of the least advanced countries.
Talks between Meckassoua, who earlier met Moroccan foreign minister Mohamed Benaissa and the two Moroccan officials also covered means to reinforce bilateral cooperation.
