King Abdullah hold talks with Abbas
Jordan-Palestine, Politics, 7/24/2003

The Jordanian King Abdullah II has called on Israel to implement the Roadmap to peace and halt the building of settlements and releasing the Palestinian detainees from the Israeli jails as well as ending the siege imposed on the Palestinian people.

During his talks with the Palestinian authority prime minister Mahmoud Abbas yesterday in Amman, the Jordanian king expressed his hope that the talks Abbas to hold with the American President George Bush on Friday will conclude positive results. Abbas said that the Palestinian authority took several initiatives in support of the Roadmap, demanding Israel to take similar steps to build confidence.
