Mamoun al-Homsi admitted to hospital

Lawyer Anwar al-Bunni said yesterday that former Syrian member of parliament Mamoun al-Homsi was taken from prison he is detained in on Tuesday evening to a hospital because he had heart attack.

Al-Bunni explained that al-Homsi, the former parliament member, had a severe heart attack on Tuesday that r"equired admitting him to al-Shefaa private hospital in Damascus amid an intensive security guarding." He added that al-Homsi had also kidney problems because of which he was also admitted to hospital last week and that his condition is not stable.
