Central African foreign minister starts visit to Morocco
Morocco-Central African Republic, Politics, 7/22/2003

Foreign minister of the Central African Republic, Abdou Karim Meckssoua, arrived here this Monday for a two-day visit. The Central African official told reporters he was commissioned by Central African president, Francois Bozize, to probe with Moroccan officials means to consolidate cooperation between the two African nations and renew his country's support to Morocco in the Sahara issue. The Central African republic has always been very close to Morocco because the Kingdom is a country open onto sub-Saharan African countries and maintains longstanding cooperation ties," he added.

The head of the Central African diplomacy will be meeting Moroccan peer, Mohamed Benaissa, and minister of higher education and scientific research, Khalid Alioua. He will also hold work sessions with the speakers of the two parliamentary chambers.
