Syrian official source denies Israeli allegations
Syria-Israel, Politics, 7/22/2003
An official source at Syrian Foreign Ministry denied yesterday the Israeli claims that President Bashar al-Assad has sent a message to Israel in which he called for reviving the peace negotiations from the point they stopped at in the year 2000.
The source stressed that this claim which came out by Israeli Foreign Minister Shalom Silvan is merely a part of a series claims which aims at covering the Israeli occupation and settlement policy that undermine peace and stability opportunities in the Middle East.
