Al-Watan: Yemeni- Saudi border committee

Members of the joint Yemeni- Saudi committee for border demarcation will be meeting today in Germany to mark borders with the representatives of the border demarcation company in "minister city." the meetings will continue until July 28th.
The chairman of the Yemeni side to the meetings Abdullah al-Fadli said in a statement to the Saudi daily al-Watan issued yesterday that the meeting with the executing company will discuss what was completed of demarcation works during the past period and what will be implemented in the coming phase, according to a set schedule.
Earlier, the two Yemeni and Saudi sides have expressed their satisfaction over the results achieved during the past phase in the area of fixing border marks between the two countries, according to the formula set by Jeddah agreement signed between the two countries on June 12, 2000. The treaty which put an end to 65 years of differences between the two countries over borders.
During the past time, the two sides held several meetings in each of Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Germany which were all dedicated to discuss the process of the operation on the ground. Several problems were treated while the company was planting border signs between the two sides. SANA.
