Arab parliamentarians deplores Israeli stances over Gaza, west bank
Israel-Regional, Politics, 7/21/2003
The Arab Parliamentarian Union has described the Israeli Knesset decision, that considers Gaza and the West Bank as unoccupied lands, a violation against the international law and the UN resolutions including resolutions No. 181, 194, 242, and 338.
In a statement issued today, the union denounced the Israeli decision because it calls on for the consolidation of "expansionist Zionism" and for keeping of all the Palestinian territories under the Israeli occupation.
The union called the Palestinians to face the Israeli aggression by reinforcing the Palestinian Intifada, strengthening the national unity, and committing themselves to their firm national rights in liberation and establishing their independent state with Jerusalem as its capital.
The union called all parliamentarians and regional and international organizations to "oppose the Knesset decision and to support the Palestinians in their legal resistance."
Meantime, "An old Palestinian woman was reportedly wounded Sunday by Israeli occupation forces in Rojeeb village, near Nablus," and the Israeli occupation finished yesterday "fencing the colonial paved road leading to the Jewish settlement of Morag, south of the city of Khan Younis," IPC reported yesterday.
