Sheikh Jaber opens the Kuwaiti Ummah council today

Kuwait's Amir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah opens today the first ordinary session of the 10 legislative term for the Kuwaiti Ummah council (parliament). Members of the parliament will elect the speaker of the council and its deputy speaker for the next four years
The inauguration session will be marked by a speech to be read by the most senior member at the parliament and then the Emir's speech which will be read by the prime minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah after which all members will take their own constitutional oath.
