Lebanese president confers with US Ambassador

Lebanese President, Emile Lahoud, and the US Ambassador to Beirut, Vincent Battle reviewed in Beirut on Friday the latest regional and international developments and Lebanese stance towards them in addition to Lebanese-US relations.
Battle briefed Lahoud on developments in Iraq after establishment of the Iraqi governing transitional council, its missions and duties.
