Islamic World society deplores Israeli practices
Regional-Palestine, Politics, 7/17/2003

Islamic World society has warned against the Zionist plans and aggressive practices aiming at displacing the Palestinians in Jerusalem in order to seize it and eliminate its Islamic and Arab character.

In a statement yesterday in Riyadh, the General Secretary of the society Abdullah Turieki stressed that Zionist organizations are compelling Jerusalem's inhabitants to leave their homes in order to demolish them and to build new homes for the Israeli immigrants.

It asserted that these practices violate the human rights, the United Nations' and the Security Council's resolutions which consider Jerusalem as an occupied city in which nothing should be changed.

It called on Human Rights Organizations to stop the Zionist practices and acts of displacing the Palestinians and to preserve their security which is being threatened by the Zionist terrorist organizations.
