Syria - Kuwait informational dialogue initiated

Kuwaiti delegation of Press Association headed by Chairman of the Association, Adnan al-Rashed visited yesterday the Syrian Arab News Agency, SANA.

The delegation was received by the General Manager of SANA Mr. Ghazi Al-Deeb, General Manager Assistant, Ahmad Naser, General Manager of Tishreen newspaper, Khalf al-Jarad, and the director of Public Relations and Foreign Information Department at the Ministry of Information, Munir al-Ali.

The two sides held an informational dialogue session during which they exchanged viewpoints concerning the Arab media's role in combating the current challenges facing the Arab states.

"They reviewed the situation in the region particularly the Palestinians who suffer the Israeli brutal aggression. They also discussed the bilateral relations between the two states in all fields particularly in the field of information, stressing the necessity for developing and boosting these relations in the interest of the Arab nation," SANA said.

Al-Rashed praised Syria's national stances in defending the Arab nation's issues asserting that Syria plays a fundamental role in the region.
