Lebanese, Ukraine president pleased over talks in Kiev

Ukraine's President Leonid Kuchma and the Lebanese President Emil Lahoud expressed their satisfaction over the results of talks they held in Kiev on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The press office for Ukraine's presidency said that Presidents Kuchma and Lahoud made yesterday morning final talks in which they stressed the need of reactivating trade and economic relations between Ukraine and Lebanon and increasing number of joint projects in the economic field.

The two Presidents stressed that the two countries view points are identical regarding most debated issues and that signing several bilateral agreements will help to reactivate and revitalize cooperation between Kiev and Beirut.

The two Presidents expressed conviction that the meeting of the Ukraine- Lebanese joint committee on economic and trade cooperation in autumn will give cooperation between the two countries a new impetus.
