Syrian Jordanian talks on import of cement

Jordanian minister of trade and industry Salah Eddin al-Bashir, received in Amman yesterday a Syrian delegation headed by, Assistant Minister of Supplies and Internal Trade, Aref Haj Yousef, Aref Haj Yousef.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the issues included in the Minute of the Syrian Jordanian meeting such as the execution of the agreement signed between the General Company of the Foreign Trade and the Jordanian Company of Cement Factories.
The two sides discussed bilateral relations of cooperation between Syria and Jordan particularly the economic and the commercial ones.
In a statement to SANA's correspondent in Amman, Yousef stressed that the two sides discussed relations of cooperation and the issue of importing Jordanian cement to Syria, stressing that the discussions were within in a positive and friendly atmosphere.
He also pointed out that the Jordanian company pledged to raise the Jordanian exports of cement to Syria to amount 2500 tons daily.
