Nissan to help Egypt's role in car manufacture

Prime Minister Atef Ebeid, discussed with Nissan car manufacture executive director, Carlos Ghosn, the domestic manufacture of cars and expansion in this domain at a strategic field.

Minister of Industry and Technological Development, Ali A1Saeedi, said Ebied highlighted during the meeting the significance of Egypt's geographical situation in car export to the neighbouring countries.

Ghosn said talks with the Primer were constructive. the official underlined Nissan company's desire to enhance investments in Egypt in the car manufacture and spare parts for export.

Ebeid stressed the government s keenness to expand the car manufacture installations in Egypt in the combing phase.
