Three Moroccans to assist French coach of Qatari team
Morocco-Qatar, Sports, 7/9/2003
Three Moroccan technicians will assist French coach of Qatari team, Phillippe Troussier, who coached the Japanese team during the world cup finals in 2002.
47-year old Troussier, who worked as a manager after a short career as a football player, appointed Mohamed Hajjam as first assistant-coach, Said Badou as goalkeepers' coach and Abdelmalek Naili in charge of administrative affairs in the technical commission.
Troussier will sign on Wednesday in Doha a contract with the local federation to take in charge the technical direction of the country's team. The contract is likely to be renewed if the Qatari national team qualifies to the final phase of world cup 2006 that will be held in Germany.
