Iraqi- Kurdish official visits Damascus

The chairman of Irbil district government in Iraq's Kurdistan and member of the political bureau in the Kurdistani democratic party Nisherfan Barazani started political talks in Damascus just few days after the visit paid by the leader of the Kurdistani national federation Jalal al-Talibani to Syria.
The official at the federation's office in Syria, Ghazi Zeibari, said that Barazani met with the assistant secretary general of the Baath party Abdullah al-Ahmar and with the Syrian Vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam.
