July 8, 2003 Experts: Arab common market should be accelerated

A poll conducted before the convening of the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Jordan, indicated that the investors' confidence in the Middle East business climate has started to thin out and that one third of investment plans have come to a virtual halt as a result of the faltering of the peace process and US occupation of Iraq.
Experts and investment quarters in Egypt have called for accelerating the establishment of the Arab Common Market to act as an incentive to investors in the Middle East.
