Syrian Awqaf minister confers with Vatican officials

Syria's Awqaf Minister, Muhammad Zeada, received in Damascus on Saturday Chairman of Pontifical Council of dialogue among religions in Vatican, Michael Louis Vetz Gerald. Talks during the meeting dealt with religions role in boosting principles of right, justice and peace among people of the world.
The Minister underlined the importance of prevailing peace over the whole world and stressed that Syria encourages dialogue among civilizations and religions and cultural exchange. Gerald expressed happiness over his visit to Syria and meetings with Moslems clergymen in the framework of deepening the joint religious dialogue.
