Arabic Language and globalization symposium

Symposium of the Arabic Language and Globalization was opened in Damascus on Saturday with the attendance of Minister of Higher Education Hassan Reshih, Education Minister, Lebanese Minister of Labor and Social Affairs, and many other officials.

Reshih underlined the Arab Language ability to understand the age's sciences and idioms and to express our needs and desires.

He pointed out that our Arabic Language maintained our national ideas throughout the ages.

Other delivered speeches stressed the importance of this symposium in boosting and strengthening function of the Arabic Language and developing its performance and ability in light of challenges facing the Arabic Language and identity resulting from globalization.
