Saudi Arabia: main convicted persons in Riyadh explosion detonated himself

Saudi Arabia announced that Turkey Naser al-Dandani, the main suspected person in the Riyadh explosions had detonated himself as he was being chased by the police in al-Jouf area.
An official at the Saudi ministry of the interior said that al-Dandani died yesterday morning in al-Jouf, 900 Km to the north of Riyadh. The source added that the Saudi security forces carried out a breaking in campaign included a mosque and this resulted in wounding one Saudi army officer during fire exchange.
However, the prominent Saudi figure and the chairman of the Islamic Islah movement ( Haraket al-Islah al-Islami ) Saad al-Faqih narrated another story about the incident. He said that the Saudi police received a notification saying that al-Dandani is in al-Khasheim mosque in al-Jouf province and hurried immediately to surround the mosque and opened fire at him and asked him to surrender.
Al-Faqis said that al-Dandani refused to surrender and called on the police forces to honor the holiness of the mosque, but the forces continued to fire and thereby he was obliged to leave along carrying a machinegun. He killed two policemen and then he was killed together with other men surrounding the mosque.
He stressed that information available with the Saudi authorities indicate that al-Dandani was leading a cell belonging to al-Qaida organization and is responsible for the explosions which took place on May 12 in Riyadh and resulted in killing 34 persons including 8 Americans.
Worthy mentioning that al-Dandani is in top of the list of 19 Saudis wanted by the Saudi security over executing these explosives.
