Moroccan minister meets delegation of international rehabilitation council for torture victims

Moroccan human rights minister, Mohamed Aujjar, held talks in Rabat on Tuesday with a delegation of the International Rehabilitation Council for Torture Victims (IRCT), currently on a visit to the kingdom.
The minister reiterated during Morocco's commitment to consolidating the democratic process and the rule of law, underlining that relations with the international council are part of Morocco's international and national co-operation with governmental and non-governmental partners to promote the human rights culture.
The meeting discussed means to reinforce co-operation programs.
IRCT is an independent, international health professional organization that promotes and supports the rehabilitation of torture victims and the prevention of torture through nearly 200 rehabilitation centers and programs around the world.
The delegation is scheduled to hold other meetings with several Moroccan officials.
