Arab culture permanent commission meets in Rabat

The permanent commission of Arab culture will be meeting here July 5 through 7 over preparations for the conference on "the role of Arab culture in identity preservation: example of Palestine," to be held in 2004 in Sanaa.
The meeting will examine the main themes on the agenda of the conference, namely "the role of Arabic in strengthening national identity," "the communication technologies revolution and its role in enriching Arabic," "the importance of cultural strategies in consolidating Arab identity and cultural security" and "the role of Arab culture in preserving Palestinian identity."
