Private TV stations licensed in Kuwait

Kuwait's minister of information Ahmad Fahad Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah has issued a decision to permit the licensing of three private TV stations via satellites from the state of Kuwait.
The decision issued yesterday stipulated that "programs of these stations will not be contradictory with the state's general policies or endangering Kuwait's relations with brotherly and sisterly states."
The decision also stipulates the right of the Kuwaiti ministry of the information to monitor these program and to halt any violating program, uncompensated, immediately.
