French daily Le Figaro has stressed that American companies' monopolization of all projects of construction in Iraq affirm that the American war on Iraq aimed only at controlling Iraq's economy.
The daily indicated editorially that the Iraqis reject the American presence in Iraq, stressing that the Iraqi resistance makes the situation difficult for the Americans who suffer political and military failure daily.
It also pointed out that Rumsfeld's decision to launch a military process named Desert Scorpion is a clear evidence that the Iraqi resistance represents a real disturbance for the American forces which are being looked at as an occupation force.
