Al-Watan: Saudi Arabia on regional issues

Saudi Arabia's minister of the interior Prince Nayef Bin Abdul Aziz has stressed that no official information has arrived from Yemen on that there are Saudis killed among those who were chased by the Yemeni forces.
In a statement to the Saudi daily al-Watan issues yesterday, the Saudi minister said that Saudi Arabia received only 4 persons from Yemen in the short past time and this was declared then.
He also stressed that cooperation between his country and Iran is based on the interests of the two countries, but Saudi Arabia did not receive from Iran persons recently declared to be arrested in Iran.
The Saudi minister of the interior announced that the security forces arrested more than 50 wanted and that search and investigations for the wanted will continue and persons will be brought for just trial and that all facts will be announced in due times.
He also explained that some of the women who were arrested recently are Saudis, but not in direct links, but by being wives to certain wanted men, adding the number of Saudis women among them is four.
Prince Nayef indicated that the security situation in Iraq is bad and the Saudi border guards intensified presence on the borders with Iraq in order to preserve the important openings. He added "regrettably, the situation in Iraq is not stable especially the security condition, because there is no equipment to monitor Iraq's borders." He stressed that there is information exchange between Saudi Arabia and certain western sides especially the American, describing this exchange as positive.
