Morocco, France ties praised as model

French cooperation minister, Pierre Andre Wiltzer, on Friday praised the traditional ties binding his country and Morocco as "a model" of cooperation and friendship. "Morocco is one of the countries with which France has the highest and strongest level of cooperation in all fields," Wiltzer said, underlining the importance of the visit French Premier Jean-Pierre Raffarin readies to pay to Morocco shortly.
France wants to give a new impetus to these already strong ties, the official told MAP news agency on the fringes of a meeting in Tunis.
