Egyptian parliamentarian demands Israel sign NTP

Israel should abandon its nuclear arsenal and sign the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) to guarantee security and peace in the Mideast, an Egyptian parliamentarian said in Paris Thursday.
Mostafa A1 Feqi, the Chairman of Egypt's People's Assembly Foreign Relations Committee, said justice and balance necessitate that all countries of the region, including Israel, should sign the NPT to turn the Mideast into an area free from weapons of mass destruction (WMDs), such step, he added, would prepare for normal relations among all countries of the region.
