Al-Assad inspection visit to Homs, team spirit required for development

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Wednesday paid an inspection visit to Homs city in central Syria where he inspected a number of service projects and met senior party and government officials.

During his visit, the president inspected the course of work at the projects of Grand Homs Hospital, the Palace of Justice, and the sewage treatment station.

At Homs City Hall, the president met with party and government officials businessmen, economists and clergymen. He underlined the importance of the central region and the necessity to improve it through collective work and team spirit.

The president also reviewed the situation in the Arab region particularly in Iraq indicating that the Arab masses would never give in to frustration due the potentials enjoyed by the Arab citizens.

He also stressed the importance of the national unity and expressed confidence in the future which is being built by all citizens.
