Iraqi resistance intensify with 3 Americans killed; al-Sahaf freed after interrogation
Iraq-USA, Military, 6/27/2003

At last the former Iraqi minister of information Muhammad Saeed al-Sahaf appeared on the scene to occupy the Arab space satellites, but this time he did not exaggerate, nor falsified facts, rather left gray color sweeps his head. He promised to write down the history of the fall of Baghdad which he did not admit to that day on April 7th when he disappeared.

It seemed that al-Sahaf's decision to appear on the TV was a reason for competition at a cost of hundreds thousands of dollars between al-Arabia space satellite which announced the interview and broadcasted excerpts from it yesterday evening under the condition to be screened in full today, and Abu Dhabi TV which screened a special interview with al-Sahaf on Thursday evening.

Al-Sahaf who took off his military costume said he surrendered himself to the American forces who interrogated him and then freed him. He denied that the former Iraqi leadership had cheated him or prevented him from the precise information of the facts of the war.

He denied that he was a member in that leadership and attributed the word "al-Olouj" to the Muslim Khaleifa Omar Bin al-Khattab.

It is known that al-Sahaf's name is not mentioned in the American list for the 55 wanted former Iraqi officials. Al-Arabia was granted the interview in a modest house in one of Baghdad's suburbs denied "news on his detention and imprisonment."

Meantime, the Iraqi resistance during the two past days intensified its attacks which extended until the Shiite areas to the south of Baghdad and launched a series of attacks against the occupation forces that resulted in killing 3 American soldiers and wounding other 14, at a time the occupation forces were searching for two of its soldiers who disappeared in Baghdad on Wednesday.
